Description

Germany, 1.000 Mark, 1910, UNC, B217f7 (Letter T), 1883 - 1922 Imperial Issues. Counting flaws. The 100-mark and 1,000-mark denominations, issued right up until the hyperinflation of 1922, come with two different color varieties of prominently displayed Reichsbank seals. These were altered from red to green in December 1918 (although the notes are dated considerably earlier), right after the end of World War I, when the mark was devalued by half, in order to prevent claims of full exchange by foreign holders.
